Riddhi Shenoy

Riddhi studied medicine at Imperial College London and completed her intercalated BSc in Management at Imperial College Business School. Riddhi completed her foundation training in East of England, undertaking an academic foundation project in ophthalmology.

As Editorial Registrar at The BMJ, through the National Medical Director’s clinical fellow scheme 2022-2023, she developed skills in editing, critical appraisal and journalism.

This scheme developed her interest in research and she is currently an academic ophthalmology trainee in the East Midlands, working on projects in artificial intelligence and paediatric ophthalmology.


Riddhi is particularly interested in implementing change to improve patient care and focuses her research and quality improvement work on reducing health inequalities.
