Radhika Thakrar

Radhika is a paediatric registrar and has completed her membership exams. She works full time in South London and she loves the excitement, challenges and satisfaction that each day in the hospital brings.

On the side, she has a successful Instagram page @DoctorRadhika with over 30k followers where she posts honest and reflective content about life as a doctor. She aims to encourage medical students and younger doctors and show them a realistic view of what life as a doctor is like. She also has a YouTube channel where she posts videos about life as a doctor.

In 2022 she created a podcast called “She’s The Doctor” where she interviews women in medicine and hears about their life and career so far. This was very successful and she is planning season 2.
