Olamide Dada

Dr. Olamide Oguntimehin is an award-winning NHS resident doctor, medical education fellow and charity leader. She is the founder and chief executive of Melanin Medics, a national charity that advocates for racial equity in medicine. Dr. Oguntimehin authored a report about racial bias and pulse oximetry during the COVID-19 pandemic which garnered national attention and subsequently led to a government review of racial bias in medical devices. She has served on the British Medical Association Equality & Diversity Advisory Board and recently finished as a Marx Leadership Fellow at the General Medical Council, working within professional standards and ethics. She is currently working as a Medical Education Fellow in Social Determinants of Health. She is an alumnus of the Healthcare Leadership Academy and a fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
