Christopher Graham

Based in Edinburgh, I was a HLA Scholar in 2024-25 (Scotland Cohort). My HLA Project was launching an online planetary health glossary, available at https://phg.rcpe.ac.uk – co-development with international contributors continues.

I work as the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE)’s Digital Education Manager, leading a small team to deliver high-quality, accessible digital medical education for hospital doctors and other healthcare professionals and students worldwide. We provide an income-generating e-learning platform (RCPE Advance: https://advance.rcpe.ac.uk), an e-learning platform for RCPE Members (RCPE Education Portal: https://learning.rcpe.ac.uk), and clinical and non-clinical podcasts for all career stages (https://podcasts.rcpe.ac.uk).

In 2023, I graduated with distinction in my Master of Public Health (MPH) from The University of Manchester. My long-term career ambition is to work as a senior public health leader, and I hope to undertake specialty training in public health soon.

During my medical studies with psychology intercalation at the University of Edinburgh, I developed various leadership and management skills particularly as Senior President of the Royal Medical Society (RMS), Edinburgh’s MedSoc, and as APEX 5 Expedition Leader, a high-altitude medical research expedition to the Bolivian Andes.

I am a charity trustee of the RMS, supporting the education and professional development of Edinburgh medical students.

I have an active and growing academic profile, which spans diverse fields including medical education, psychology, and public, global and planetary health: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Chris-Graham-17

Outside work I enjoy keeping fit in the outdoors, learning Spanish, and living and acting sustainably.

I look forward to being a HLA mentor!
