Christina Uwins

Christina’s research interest centres on robotic surgery and its applications in Gynaecological oncology for which she is currently undertaking an MD at the University of Surrey. Christina has designed and coordinated 𝗠𝗜𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗥𝗦 (Robotic Surgery for Advanced ovarian cancer): a prospective cohort feasibility study from its conception, through to study implementation and now successful completion of recruitment under the supervision of Mr Simon Butler-Manuel Professor Agnieszka Michael.

Christina has been awarded the NIHR CRN KSS Greenshoots fellowship award, a GRACE charity grant and most recently an Intuitive Foundation grant funds her clinical research.

Christina is passionate about her work in Robotics in Gynaecological Oncology and excited to move MIRRORS on to the next step.
