The HLA House of Lords Reception 2026

We are pleased to announce that this networking reception will now take place on 18th September 2026. The original date in May could not go ahead due to the State Opening of Parliament, which required all external events at the House of Lords to be cancelled. We are therefore delighted to be able to reschedule and still bring the community together for this special occasion as part of the HLA 10-year celebrations.

Please note, if you are attending the HLA Alumni Dinner on the same day (18th September 2026) at 6:00 p.m. at The Athenaeum, London, you will automatically be eligible to attend the House of Lords Reception without needing to submit a separate application.

However, please be aware that those purchasing Alumni Dinner tickets must be part of a relevant IDEAS organisation or HLA community member in order to be eligible for the House of Lords Reception, as this is strictly for the HLA community. Plus ones attending the Alumni Dinner are not permitted to attend the House of Lords Reception.

All applications will be reviewed within 4 weeks of the event, and successful applicants will be contacted accordingly.
