The Director/Head of the HLA IDEAS Programme is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the IDEAS initiative, ensuring the design, delivery, and evaluation of the programme. This role requires fostering innovation, creativity, and a dynamic learning environment, while maintaining the programme’s alignment with the HLA’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Oversight:

Ensure the high-quality design and delivery of the IDEAS programme.

Manage the programme’s calendar and operations for efficiency.

Align the programme with HLA’s organisational goals and strategic direction.

Participant Engagement:

Oversee participant recruitment, onboarding, and community building.
-
Monitor participant progress and provide timely support to address challenges.

Innovation and Creativity:
-
Foster a culture of innovation and creative thinking among participants.

Ensure the programme’s curriculum encourages practical application and entrepreneurial skill development.

Collaboration and Partnerships:

Develop and nurture partnerships to enhance programme content and outcomes.

Integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities into the programme.

Assessment and Evaluation:

Design frameworks to assess participant growth and programme success.

Conduct ongoing evaluations to ensure content relevance and quality.​​

Requirements:
-
Must be a current or past HLA Cohort Director.
-
Attendance at monthly virtual team meetings and in-person/virtual organisational events.

Representing the IDEAS Programme at relevant forums and meetings.

Leading and mentoring teams using virtual tools and platforms.

Overseeing the programme budget and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

Providing guidance and mentorship to participants and staff members.
