​Are you passionate about mentoring and guiding scholars towards success? Do you have a knack for organisation and leadership? We are seeking individuals to join our team as an Assistant Cohort Director.
 

About the role

As a Cohort Director, you will play a crucial role in organising and facilitating cohort sessions, providing mentorship to scholars, and ensuring a positive learning environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders, monitor scholar progress, and contribute to recruitment efforts.
 

Key responsibilities:

• Attend and organise agenda for all cohort sessions.

• Develop mentoring relationships with scholars.

• Monitor scholar attendance and participation.

• Assist in applicant grading, shortlisting, and interviewing.

• Provide feedback on scholars' progress.

• Ensure a positive learning environment.

• Mentor new/deputy directors.

• Arrange and deliver training sessions

Requirements:

• Candidates must have successfully completed the HLA Scholars programme by the time of their appointment as a Cohort Director

• Clinician/relevant background

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Experience in mentoring or leadership roles.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
