Are you passionate about mentoring and guiding scholars towards success? Do you have a knack for organisation and leadership? We are seeking individuals to join our team as an Assistant Cohort Director.
 

This is a development role in which you will work as an Assistant Cohort Director for one year, with the opportunity to progress to a full Cohort Director role following a satisfactory appraisal by the Senior Management Team.
 

About the role

As an Assistant Cohort Director, you will support the organisation and delivery of cohort sessions, provide mentorship to scholars, and help create a positive learning environment. You will work closely with the Cohort Director and wider team, contribute to monitoring scholar progress, and support recruitment activities.
 

Key responsibilities:

• Support the planning and organisation of cohort session agendas

• Build mentoring relationships with scholars

• Monitor scholar attendance and participation

• Support shortlisting and interviewing processes

• Provide feedback on scholars' progress

• Contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment

• Assist in the delivery of training sessions

Requirements:

• Must have completed the HLA Scholars programme by the time of appointment

• Clinician or relevant professional background

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Experience in mentoring or leadership roles

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
