The two days will consist of a mix of workshops, group work, speakers, round tables, networking and presentations. The focus of these days is to learn from each other and create new and innovative solutions or perspectives.
In order to stimulate the global exchange, we invite Global Health experts as keynote speakers. They will facilitate the sessions alongside members of the HLA community who have experience working in the Global Health sector and have established successful projects themselves.

To raise awareness to global and local issues concerning healthcare provision beyond the scope of the participants own network
To empower attendees to discuss issues concerning healthcare provision worldwide
To create mutual understanding and respect for healthcare professionals from all places of the world
To provide opportunities for attendees to network internationally with individuals of similar and diverse interests such as healthcare innovation and leadership
The HLA: Global Exchange is a global platform for healthcare professionals to discuss and create solutions to local and international healthcare issues. During a two day event attendees are encouraged to discuss common issues from healthcare systems around the world and create solutions to these with the support of interactive workshops. Attendees will come from a wide variety of countries and backgrounds with the intention to explore, understand and learn from other healthcare professionals and systems.
Each HLA: Global Exchange will focus on a theme. The first Exchange will be about the ‘Global Health Worker Shortage’
Applications open on 12th of April and close on 1st of May at 6pm GMT.
Application requirements: Please produce a 90 second video in which you introduce yourself, present the healthcare system you are most familiar with and tell us what you hope to get out of the HLA Global Exchange weekend.
